Neogen Launch in Sephora México

By Carolina Malis

K-Beauty is a worldwide trend and we all know it by now. People all over the world has fallen into the arms of korean cosmetics and with a reason: they simply work. But let's face it, it's not easy to access Korean Beauty if you're not in Asia or the US, but thankfully some brands have finally realized about the potential of areas such as Europe and Latin America as interest grows by the day.

As an example of this, on April 4th Neogen launched in all 19 Sephora stores (and online) in Mexico and you can't even imagine how excited that makes me. Neogen is not only a K-Beauty brand but a high quality one, one of those than can make you fall head to toes into Korean Beauty in a skincare minute, reason why it's very exciting to know that this will be the beginning of a long-committed relationship with Korean Beauty for many.

I was not at all surprised when I learned some of the Best Sellers were the Knit Mask Series and the H2 Dermadeca Serum Spray (two of my absolute favorites by the way). It's just that with Neogen products is really easy to fall in love.

Best thing is almost the whole collection is available, including some all-time favorites such as the Green Tea Pads, the Real Flower Cleansing Flower series, the White Truffle collection and the Coconut Milk cleanser just to name a few. Are you in Mexico or know a friend who lives there? Then make sure to share the good news with them because it’s just about time before Neogen takes over South America by storm.

Pore Control All-In-One: The Canadian Clay Pore Cleanser

Now, how would you feel if I tell you there's a product out there that can get rid of makeup, excess sebum, dirt, toxins, blackheads and dead skin build up in only one step? I know, you'd think I'm lying, but I'm not. I got introduced to Neogen Canadian Clay Pore Cleanser around a year ago during this same time of the year and my very first question was: How can a cleanser contain clay in it and not be extremely drying? Specially now with temperatures dropping I don't wanna put anything on my face that's gonna take hydration away. But must admit I was extremely surprised after the first time I actually used it.

Real Cica Micellar Oil & Foam Review by Bambi

I feel like 2018 is a Cica year - all the Cica products that we can see all around the place. This trend seems to be associated with K-beauty but it's not only about Korean brands that started this cult. There's always a reason why something becomes popular so I was positively surprised when I heard that Neogen has decided to make a series based on Centella Asiatica and release the Cica series. Currently, my double cleansing is based on Neogen Cica Micellar Cleansing Oil and Neogen Cica Micellar Cleansing Foam. How does it look like and why you should give a chance to this due?

New Season, New Cleanser, Real Fresh Foam Cranberry

One of the things I swap immediately when temperatures drop is my water-based cleanser. While during summer I tend to go for gel ones (which will get rid of excess sebum) for colder weather I tend to lookout for light-foam ones that will protect my skin's hydration levels. Now, there's lots to say about cleansers in the skincare community. The pH should be low, the pH should be high, some ingredients are good, some ingredients are bad, there should be no alcohol in them, there should be some kinds of alcohol in them… and a long, long list that could go on for years, but at the end of the day it's all about what works for you.

Exfoliators can have different forms but one of the most controversial is for sure peeling pad. Why are they so controversial?
